BMW always has been the iconic yuppie-mobile. The vehicles can be described as being for those who don’t trust anybody older than 30.
In reality, the closest thing between BMW and Mercedes-Benz is Germany. BMW is viewed as the “driver’s car” whereas M-B is thought of more in terms of luxury (not that BMW isn’t).

For 2010 BMW has the following vehicles in its line-up: 1 Series, 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 Series, X3, X5, X6, M3, M5, M6, X5 M, X6 M.
1 Series
Don’t be fooled by the title “1 Series” and mistake it for a ticket to the dance. It’s hardly an entry-level vehicle. Yes, it’s a smaller car – but it has the power and performance of a higher-level “Bimmer.”
The 1 Series draws its inspiration from the legendary BMW 2002 model of almost 40 years ago. It was the first “gotta have” vehicle for young drivers and European car enthusiasts.
